Sharing Tea, Sharing Hope

February 1, 2020 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Tea is an important part of many Asian Pacific Islander (API) cultures and helps facilitate community connection.

Our project engages API groups through deep listening and sharing tea culture in parks, events, and other community settings. We aim to increase awareness and compassion, so as to decrease mental health related stigma and encourage early access of services as needed.

Our first Sharing Tea Sharing Hope event of the New Year!! Find us between 11am to 4pm along the 900 block of North Broadway. Got something you want to tell in confidence – a new year’s resolution, a vexing issue, a dream, a secret? We offer FREE listening and tea – just share your story. So good for your mental wellness. Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Tagalog listening tea tenders ready to share delicious oolongs and chrysanthemums in a judgement free zone.
