A Sip of Mindfulness Presents “Self Love: Body”

$35It goes without saying that practicing self-care year-round would benefit us all, but our society gives special attention to it on one day of the year, February 14, leaving room for those not in a romantic relationship to figure out how to approach the exclusion. Regardless of whether or not you’re in a romantic situation, there is always room for love of self.
As the first session of ASoM’s “Self Love: Body & Soul” two-part series, today’s group session will focus on “Body.” In this session, you will learn to utilize various skills and principles geared toward emotional healing through the body:
- Body scan
- Gratitude
- Grounding
- Self-compassion
- Managing thoughts
Every ASoM group ends with a tea pour. Please check back for a listing of tonight’s non-caffeinated loose leaf tea.
This session will require extra materials, some of which I will provide. Registrants will receive a more detailed email a few days prior to session to gather any personal items they would rather use instead.
